Oh, Mark…I knew that you would be sucked into watching the rest of the movie as soon as I hung up the phone…but I’m not going to tease you in this public forum as I have already done in person. You were a busy little bee this weekend I have nothing more to add except to say thank you for not screwing up the laundry.

DJR: If I followed S.Rod's instructions, I'd be doing nothing but cleaning and making knitted crafts. :-p

I made a compromise and did the laundry (just like the old bachelor days). Much of the weekend was spent working on yet another website in the Sahm universe.

My first thought was “Dude-Me too!” Then I thought about it some more and it occured to me, if I keep waiting to be brought back to life, then I must be walking around dead. F&%$ that. Life is what we make of it. Who says what I am doing today is not what I am supposed to be doing.On the flip side, I have found recently that one must watch what they wish for. My point (and my plan) is to quit my bitchin’and start doing/stop doing the things that are holding me back. So live it, Mark. Besides I am amazed at all of the stuff that either comes out of your mouth or things that you create. You sure you aren’t already where you are supposed to be?

Beth: From time to time, I do reflect on all the creative projects I’ve done and nod my head in appreciation that I am able to do those things. But by no means do such moments make me humble or content.

My art and writing (much like your photography for you) are not my day job. I don’t believe sitting in a cubicle making phone calls and sending e-mails is where I’m supposed to be. It is here where I want to be “living” right.

It is not bitching. It is a reminder to never give up on my true dreams.

You are both right, Mark and Beth, never give up working toward your dreams. Some of us played hard in our younger days, went places and did things, but now have no money for the future. Sad also are those who only work at earning money, retire, then quickly pass on without really enjoying all life has to offer. Thus, try living a balanced life, leaving nothing out as you trudge towards untold wealth. Proud of both of you.
